(Quite) A few things

I have had the busiest summer, so I have been gradually gathering things that I think are interesting and worthy of a blog post. Some of these are really old, and some of them are fairly recent. They are summed up with one adjective (for the most part). So:

Creepy

The My Life Urn seems a bit weird. I like the idea of reminding yourself of your eventual and inevitable demise, but an urn? That you have to take care of for forever? That it is "designed to carry a seed which will grow into a tree from the nutritional ingredients found in your placenta when you are born?" No thanks.

Pretty

Great dorm ideas. Also, I love the whole "child as decor" thing. Very Avant-garde.

Ballin'

Want
(that is not an adjective, but fuck it)

I really want a converter for records to mp3's, but I they are always really expensive and really inconvenient. This may be expensive (I'm not sure), but it is incredibly convenient. And cool looking, so props for that.

Ari

Again, not an adjective. Again, fuck it.

These remind me of Ari's paper dresses.

Relevant

I went to Cuba aka Miami, and when I was there a distant cousin's husband made sangria to go with lunch, so this White Whine was extra amazing.

I mean, I trust my room mates, but you never know what can happen. (As a side note, I REALLY like my room mates. They are pretty amazing).

ABORABLE!!!

Turtles make me so happy. There is this mall in Dallas with this little turtle and duck pond, and it is uber cute. But you know what is better? Baby turtles by the ocean.

Austin-Dallas Connection

The mall in Dallas with the cute turtles and ducks also has lots of cool art, including a piece by a sculptor who did a piece in Austin (a piece that is my profile picture on my Blogger profile). So cool!
